Capitol Lions (Baton Rouge, LA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Patterson Lumberjacks (Patterson, LA), 44-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Capitol upgrades its record to 7-14 on the season. The Lions travel to Port Allen (Port Allen, LA) to play the Pelicans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Pelicans go into the bout with a record of 10-11. Port Allen lost 44-36 in their recent league bout against Parkview Baptist (Baton Rouge, LA)
