In Monday's non-league outing, the Lake City Tigers (Lake City, MN) basketball squad edged the visiting Cotter Ramblers (Winona, MN), by a count of 52-50.
The Tigers (9-11) will now prepare for their outing against Pine Island (Pine Island, MN). The Panthers go into the AA Section 1 outing with a 0-20 record. In their last outing, Pine Island was tipped by Byron (Byron, MN), 61-23, in a non-league outing.
The Ramblers now hold a 8-3 record. They play next when they host Goodhue for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 7. Cotter will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 61-33 league win over Zumbrota-Mazeppa (Zumbrota, MN). The Wildcats record now stands at 18-3.
