Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Flora Wolves (Flora, IL) and the host Salem Wildcats (Salem, IL), saw Flora's basketball squad knock off Salem by a tally of 59-50.

With the victory, Flora improves its record to 10-18 on the campaign. The Wolves host Edwards County (Albion, IL) to play the Lions in a Black Diamond - East challenge on Wednesday, February 8. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 25-3. Edwards County won 68-61 in their recent league challenge against Eldorado (Eldorado, IL)

Next up, the Wildcats play the East Alton-Wood River Oilers (Wood River, IL) in a Cahokia - Mississippi challenge, on Thursday, February 9. Salem will attempt to improve on its 11-17 season record. The Oilers come into the challenge with a 8-19 record after their 45-43 non-league loss to Wesclin (Trenton, IL).
