Owings Mills Golden Eagles (Owings Mills, MD) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Franklin Indians (Reisterstown, MD), 53-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, Owings Mills upgrades its record to 7-5 on the campaign.

Next up, the Indians play the Milford Mill Academy Millers (Baltimore, MD) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 8. Franklin will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Millers come into the bout with a 4-10 record after their 76-44 league loss to Hereford (Parkton, MD).
