The St. Teresa's Academy Stars (Kansas City, MO) basketball knocked off the host Gardner-Edgerton Trailblazers (Gardner, KS), 56-43 in Monday's non-league test.
The Stars (7-8) will now prepare for their test against St. Michael the Archangel (Lee's Summit, MO). The Guardians go into the non-league test with a 12-7 record. In their last test, St. Michael the Archangel notched a victory over University Academy Charter (Kansas City, MO), 68-63, in a non-league test.
The Trailblazers now own a 8-5 record. They play next when they host Shawnee Mission Northwest for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 7. Gardner-Edgerton will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 60-43 league loss to Shawnee Mission South (Shawnee Mission, KS). The Cougars record now stands at 6-7.
