Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Miller County Pirates (Colquitt, GA) and the host Grace Christian Academy Cougars (Bainbridge, GA), saw Miller County's basketball squad hold off Grace Christian Academy by a count of 33-32.

With the victory, Miller County upgrades its record to 6-16 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Seminole County (Donalsonville, GA) to play the Indians in a A D2 Region 1B challenge on Friday, February 10. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 12-11.

Next up, the Cougars play the Georgia Christian Generals (Valdosta, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Grace Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-15 season record. The Generals come into the challenge with a 14-7 record after their 50-42 non-league win over Byne Christian (Albany, GA).
