In Monday's non-league outing, the Marengo Indians (Marengo, IL) basketball squad beat the visiting Grayslake North Knights (Grayslake, IL), by a margin of 55-45.

The Indians (18-9) will now prepare for their outing against Harvard (Harvard, IL). The Hornets go into the Kishwaukee River outing with a 1-25 record.

The Knights now own a 18-11 record. They play next when they travel to North Chicago for a Northern Lake County outing on Wednesday, February 8. Grayslake North will clash with a Warhawks squad coming off a 58-8 league loss to Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL). The Warhawks record now stands at 0-17.
