In Monday's non-league outing, the Hathaway Hornets (Jennings, LA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Plainview Hornets (Glenmora, LA), by a margin of 82-32.
The Hornets (25-4) will now prepare for their outing against Bell City (Bell City, LA). The Bruins go into the B District 6 outing with a 9-7 record. In their last outing, Bell City was trounced by Lacassine (Lacassine, LA), 46-43, in a league outing.
The Hornets now own a 10-17 record. They play next when they travel to Fairview for a C District 5 outing on Friday, February 10. Plainview will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 53-38 league win over Reeves (Reeves, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 34-7.
