Maryland High School Basketball - Holton-Arms edges The Academy of the Holy Cross

The Holton-Arms (Bethesda, MD) basketball nipped the visiting The Academy of the Holy Cross Tartans (Kensington, MD), 41-40 in Monday's league test.
The (13-5) will now prepare for their test against Mercersburg Academy (Mercersburg, PA). The Blue Storm go into the non-league test with a 11-10 record. In their last test, Mercersburg Academy got by Madeira (McLean, VA), 57-22, in a non-league test.
The Tartans now own a 3-14 record. They play next when they host Bishop McNamara for a Washington Catholic test on Tuesday, February 7. The Academy of the Holy Cross will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 51-36 league win over Paul VI (Chantilly, VA). The Mustangs record now stands at 16-5.
