New York High School Basketball - Orchard Park can't hold off Kenmore West

February 6, 2023: Buffalo, NY 14223

The Kenmore West Blue Devils basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Orchard Park Quakers to 44 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Monday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Tonawanda for a Section 6 Niagara - Frontier contest on Tuesday, February 7. Kenmore West will battle a Lumberjacks team coming off a 71-37 non-league loss to Sacred Heart Academy (Buffalo, NY). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 9-5.

The Quakers (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Jamestown (Jamestown, NY). The Red Raiders enter the Section 6 Erie County I contest with a 11-7 record. In their last contest, Jamestown nudged West Seneca West (West Seneca, NY), 84-37, in a league contest.
