Pleasant Hill Roosters/Chicks (Pleasant Hill, MO) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Lone Jack Mules (Lone Jack, MO), 59-58 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pleasant Hill upgrades its record to 5-9 on the season. The Roosters/Chicks travel to Odessa (Odessa, MO) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Missouri River Valley - West bout on Thursday, February 9. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 3-11. Odessa won 45-34 in their recent non-league bout against Van Horn (Independence, MO)

Next up, the Mules clash with the Wellington-Napoleon Tigers (Wellington, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Lone Jack will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record.
