Illinois High School Basketball - Sacred Heart-Griffin can't hold off Normal West

The Normal West Wildcats basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the host Sacred Heart-Griffin Cyclones to 49 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Monday.
The Wildcats now sport a 9-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Urbana for a Big Twelve challenge on Thursday, February 9. Normal West will play a Tigers squad coming off a 64-34 non-league loss to Springfield Southeast (Springfield, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 3-15.
Next up, the Cyclones play the MacArthur Generals (Decatur, IL) in a Central State Eight challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Sacred Heart-Griffin will attempt to improve on its 23-6 season record. The Generals come into the challenge with a 13-15 record after their 58-52 league win over Decatur Eisenhower (Decatur, IL).
