The Thief River Falls Prowlers basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Red Lake Falls Eagles to 50 in the Prowlers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Prowlers now sport a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sacred Heart for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7. Thief River Falls will battle a Eagles team coming off a 51-31 league win over Bagley (Bagley, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 8-6.
The Eagles (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against East Grand Forks (East Grand Forks, MN). The Green Wave enter the non-league contest with a 12-9 record. In their last contest, East Grand Forks ran past Kittson Central/Lancaster (Hallock, MN), 55-54, in a non-league contest.
