The Rehoboth Christian Lynx basketball team (Rehoboth, NM), dropped 63-43 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Thoreau Hawks (Thoreau, NM)
The Hawks now possess a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tohatchi for a 3A District 1 battle on Wednesday, February 8. Thoreau will battle a Cougars team coming off a 35-30 league win over Crownpoint (Crownpoint, NM). The Cougars record now stands at 14-8.
The Lynx (7-11) will now prepare for their battle against Cottonwood Classical Prep (Albuquerque, NM). The Coyotes come into the non-league battle with a 7-12 record. In their last battle, Cottonwood Classical Prep beat Bosque (Albuquerque, NM), 46-37, in a league battle.
