In Monday's non-league match, the host York Wildcats basketball team scored a tight 40-35 triumph over the Traip Rangers.
In their next game, the Wildcats meet the Wells Warriors (Wells, ME) in a B South match, on Wednesday, February 8. York will attempt to better on its 6-8 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 15-2 record after their 54-49 league win over Yarmouth (Yarmouth, ME).
