In Monday's league outing, the Hillcrest Rams (Simpsonville, SC) basketball squad beat the visiting Mauldin Mavericks (Mauldin, SC), by a count of 47-35.

The Rams (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against J.L. Mann (Greenville, SC). The Patriots go into the outing with a 11-9 record. In their last outing, J.L. Mann defeated Greer Middle College (Taylors, SC), 46-16, in a non-league outing.

The Mavericks now hold a 5-11 record. They play next when they travel to Woodmont for a outing on Thursday, February 9. Mauldin will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 43-27 league loss to J.L. Mann (Greenville, SC). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-3.
