Illinois High School Basketball - Pearl City overwhelms Ashton-Franklin Center

February 6, 2024: Ashton, IL 61006

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Pearl City Wolves (Pearl City, IL) and the host Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders (Ashton, IL), saw Pearl City's basketball squad crush Ashton-Franklin Center by a margin of 62-24.

The Wolves (13-14) will now prepare for their test against Orangeville (Orangeville, IL). The Broncos go into the test with a 7-18 record. In their last test, Orangeville walloped Milledgeville (Milledgeville, IL), 53-51, in a non-league test.

The Raiders now own a 3-23 record. They play next when they host Amboy for a test on Wednesday, February 7. Ashton-Franklin Center will encounter a Clippers squad coming off a 55-41 non-league loss to St. Bede (Peru, IL). The Clippers record now stands at 4-22.
