The Beecher Bobcats basketball team scored 80 points and restricted the visiting Reed-Custer Comets to 50 in the Bobcats non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Bobcats now sport a 27-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grant Park for a non-league contest on Friday, February 9. Beecher will battle a Dragons team coming off a 63-59 non-league loss to Kankakee Trinity Academy (Kankakee, IL). The Dragons record now stands at 7-17.

The Comets (9-18) will now prepare for their contest against Coal City (Coal City, IL). The Coalers come into the Illinois Central 8 contest with a 11-15 record. In their last contest, Coal City was routed by Manteno (Manteno, IL), 45-36, in a league contest.
