Connecticut High School Basketball - Bloomfield knocked off by New Britain

The New Britain Golden Hurricanes basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Bloomfield Warhawks to 45 in the Golden Hurricanes non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Golden Hurricanes now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bassick for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 8. New Britain will battle a Lions team coming off a 58-39 non-league loss to Newtown (Newtown, CT). The Lions record now stands at 3-10.

The Warhawks (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against East Hartford (East Hartford, CT). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, East Hartford was defeated by RHAM (Hebron, CT), 62-59, in a non-league contest.
