Ohio High School Basketball - Claymont can't hold off Carrollton

The Carrollton Warriors basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Claymont Mustangs to 51 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Warriors now sport a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Minerva for a Eastern Buckeye contest on Friday, February 9. Carrollton will battle a Lions team coming off a 67-50 non-league loss to Canton South (Canton, OH). The Lions record now stands at 11-8.
The Mustangs (7-11) will now prepare for their contest against Garaway (Sugarcreek, OH). The Pirates enter the Inter-Valley contest with a 11-7 record. In their last contest, Garaway nudged Sandy Valley (Magnolia, OH), 66-58, in a league contest.
