With the victory, Rome Free Academy improves its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Black Knights host Vernon-Verona-Sherrill (Verona, NY) to play the Red Devils in a Section 3 Tri-Valley - Pioneer challenge on Friday, February 9. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 5-13. Vernon-Verona-Sherrill lost 85-62 in their recent league challenge against New Hartford (New Hartford, NY)

Next up, the Thunder play the Notre Dame Jugglers (Utica, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 8. Central Valley Academy will attempt to improve on its 15-2 season record. The Jugglers come into the challenge with a 0-8 record after their 57-46 league loss to Vernon-Verona-Sherrill (Verona, NY).
