Chippewa Hills Warriors (Remus, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Harrison Hornets (Harrison, MI), 61-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Chippewa Hills upgrades its record to 3-12 on the season. The Warriors travel to Farwell (Farwell, MI) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 7. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-16. Farwell lost 63-22 in their recent non-league bout against Ogemaw Heights (West Branch, MI)

Next up, the Hornets play the Shepherd Bluejays (Shepherd, MI) in a Jack Pine bout, on Thursday, February 8. Harrison will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Bluejays go into the bout with a 9-7 record after their 69-39 league loss to Meridian (Sanford, MI).
