The Reed City Coyotes tipped the host Clare Pioneers basketball team by a final score of 45-42 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Coyotes face the Cadillac Vikings (Cadillac, MI) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, February 13. Reed City will attempt to move on its 17-2 season record.

With the defeat, Clare moves to 10-8 on the year. The Pioneers travel to Pinconning (Pinconning, MI) to face the Spartans in a Jack Pine game on Thursday, February 8. The Spartans enter the game with a record of 13-4. Pinconning lost 50-48 in their recent non-league game against Valley Lutheran (Saginaw, MI)
