Riverside Pirates (De Graff, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Dayton Christian WARRIORS (Miamisburg, OH), 63-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Riverside upgrades its record to 8-11 on the season. The Pirates host Covington (Covington, OH) to play the Buccs in a Three Rivers bout on Friday, February 9. The Buccs go into the bout with a record of 8-11. Covington won 74-27 in their recent non-league bout against Tri-County North (Lewisburg, OH)

Next up, the WARRIORS play the Yellow Springs Bulldogs (Yellow Springs, OH) in a Metro Buckeye bout, on Friday, February 9. Dayton Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 4-15 record after their 70-50 non-league win over Catholic Central (Springfield, OH).
