The Idalou Wildcats (Idalou, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Dimmitt Bobcats (Dimmitt, TX), 79-46 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (22-9) will now prepare for their test against Abernathy (Abernathy, TX). The Antelopes go into the 3A Region I District 2 test with a 9-18 record. In their last test, Abernathy was trounced by Roosevelt (Lubbock, TX), 57-52, in a league test.
The Bobcats now own a 7-21 record. They play next when they host Brownfield for a 3A Region I District 3 test on Friday, February 9. Dimmitt will encounter a Cubs squad coming off a 41-36 league win over Denver City (Denver City, TX). The Cubs record now stands at 23-7.
