In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Hot Springs Bison (Hot Springs, SD) basketball squad edged the host Douglas Patriots (Box Elder, SD), by a margin of 58-55.
The Bison (11-3) will now prepare for their outing against Sturgis Brown (Sturgis, SD). The Scoopers go into the non-league outing with a 4-9 record. In their last outing, Sturgis Brown was tipped by Spearfish (Spearfish, SD), 73-69, in a league outing.
The Patriots now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to Hill City for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 8. Douglas will clash with a Rangers squad coming off a 92-80 non-league loss to Lakota Tech (Pine Ridge, SD). The Rangers record now stands at 9-7.
