East Syracuse-Minoa Spartans (East Syracuse, NY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Jamesville-DeWitt Red Rams (DeWitt, NY), 81-64 in a league bout.

With the win, East Syracuse-Minoa upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Spartans host Nottingham (Syracuse, NY) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Section 3 Salt City - Metro bout on Friday, February 9. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 8-6. Nottingham lost 62-54 in their recent league bout against Cicero-North Syracuse (Cicero, NY)

Next up, the Red Rams clash with the Liverpool Warriors (Liverpool, NY) in a Section 3 Salt City - Metro bout, on Friday, February 9. Jamesville-DeWitt will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 16-2 record after their 56-50 league win over Baldwinsville (Baldwinsville, NY).
