The Johnson County Central Thunderbirds basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the visiting Elmwood-Murdock Knights to 48 in the Thunderbirds non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Thunderbirds now sport a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to College View Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 8. Johnson County Central will battle a Eagles team coming off a 58-38 non-league loss to Cornerstone Christian School (Bellevue, NE). The Eagles record now stands at 3-12.

The Knights (8-11) will now prepare for their contest against Mead (Mead, NE). The Raiders come into the non-league contest with a 13-5 record. In their last contest, Mead prevailed over Weeping Water (Weeping Water, NE), 54-42, in a non-league contest.
