The Phoenix Spartans (Braithwaite, LA) basketball crushed the visiting First Baptist Christian Eagles (Slidell, LA), 66-36 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Spartans (11-14) will now prepare for their test against Jehovah-Jireh (Baton Rouge, LA). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 4-17 record. In their last test, Jehovah-Jireh was trounced by Istrouma (Baton Rouge, LA), 56-51, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Christ Episcopal School for a non-league test on Thursday, February 8. First Baptist Christian will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 73-51 non-league win over International (New Orleans, LA). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-15.
