Gainesville Hurricanes (Gainesville, FL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Leon Lions (Tallahassee, FL), 62-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Gainesville upgrades its record to 15-11 on the season. The Hurricanes travel to Lincoln (Tallahassee, FL) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 8. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 18-5. Lincoln lost 60-48 in their recent non-league bout against Florida State University High School (Tallahassee, FL)
