In Tuesday's non-league match, the host South County Vipers basketball team scored a tight 55-50 triumph over the Griggsville-Perry Tornadoes.

In their next game, the Vipers meet the Williamsville Bullets (Williamsville, IL) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 10. South County will attempt to better on its 21-7 season record. The Bullets enter the match with a 18-8 record after their 47-40 league win over PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central (Petersburg, IL).

With the defeat, Griggsville-Perry moves to 22-5 on the year. The Tornadoes travel to Seymour (Payson, IL) to meet the Indians in a West Central match on Friday, February 9. The Indians enter the match with a record of 12-17. Seymour lost 69-52 in their recent non-league match against West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] (Winchester, IL)
