The Wheeler Lions tipped the visiting Griswold Wolverines basketball team by a final score of 58-51 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Lions face the Lyman Memorial Bulldogs (Lebanon, CT) in a Eastern Connecticut IV game, on Saturday, February 10. Wheeler will attempt to move on its 13-4 season record.
