Hillsboro Trojans (Hillsboro, KS) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Larned Indians (Larned, KS), 52-36 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Hillsboro upgrades its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Trojans host Halstead (Halstead, KS) to play the Dragons in a non-league bout on Friday, February 9. The Dragons come into the bout with a record of 5-11. Halstead won 61-55 in their recent non-league bout against Council Grove (Council Grove, KS)

Next up, the Indians play the Smoky Valley Vikings (Lindsborg, KS) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 8. Larned will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 3-12 record after their 50-46 league loss to Hoisington (Hoisington, KS).
