Iota Bulldogs (Iota, LA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Pine Prairie Panthers (Pine Prairie, LA), 83-32 in a league bout.

With the victory, Iota upgrades its record to 20-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Mamou (Mamou, LA) to play the Demons in a 3A District 4 bout on Thursday, February 8. The Demons come into the bout with a record of 8-19.

The Panthers now own a 0-20 record. They play next when they host Northwest for a 3A District 4 test on Friday, February 9. Pine Prairie will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 76-64 non-league win over Breaux Bridge (Breaux Bridge, LA). The Raiders record now stands at 19-5.
