The Jackson Ironman/Ironladies (Jackson, OH) basketball felled the visiting Meigs Marauders (Pomeroy, OH), 63-50 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Ironman/Ironladies (14-5) will now prepare for their test against Logan (Logan, OH). The Chieftains go into the non-league test with a 2-17 record. In their last test, Logan was beaten by Westland (Galloway, OH), 82-46, in a non-league test.
The Marauders now own a 14-4 record. They play next when they travel to Alexander for a Tri-Valley I test on Friday, February 9. Meigs will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 74-43 league loss to Nelsonville-York (Nelsonville, OH). The Spartans record now stands at 1-19.
