The Watkins Memorial Warriors basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies to 41 in the Warriors league triumph on Tuesday.

The Warriors now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mt. Vernon for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 10. Watkins Memorial will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 68-60 league loss to Ashland (Ashland, OH). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 9-10.

The Johnnies (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against Northridge (Johnstown, OH). The Vikings enter the Licking County - Cardinal contest with a 14-4 record. In their last contest, Northridge ran past Granville (Granville, OH), 52-47, in a league contest.
