The Long Branch Green Wave routed the visiting Lakewood Piners basketball team by a final score of 69-37 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Green Wave face the Brick Memorial Mustangs (Brick, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, February 7. Long Branch will attempt to improve on its 2-18 season record. The Mustangs come into the battle with a 9-11 record after their 80-55 non-league win over Raritan (Hazlet, NJ).
The Piners (3-15) will now prepare for their battle against East Brunswick Vo-Tech (East Brunswick, NJ). The come into the non-league battle with a 2-17 record. In their last battle, East Brunswick Vo-Tech was overwhelmed by J.P. Stevens (Edison, NJ), 57-34, in a non-league battle.
