Lutheran-Northeast Eagles (Norfolk, NE) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Bears (Laurel, NE), 57-33 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lutheran-Northeast upgrades its record to 17-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] (Clearwater, NE) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Friday, February 9. The Bobcats come into the bout with a record of 16-3. Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] won 42-33 in their recent non-league bout against Elgin/Pope John (Elgin, NE)

Next up, the Bears play the Wisner-Pilger Gators (Wisner, NE) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 8. Laurel-Concord-Coleridge will attempt to upgrade on its 11-10 season record. The Gators come into the bout with a 1-18 record after their 63-61 non-league loss to Lyons-Decatur Northeast (Lyons, NE).
