The Steinert Spartans basketball team (Hamilton, NJ), was routed 63-42 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Lawrence Cardinals (Lawrenceville, NJ)
The Cardinals now sport a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lacey Township for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 8. Lawrence will battle a Lions team coming off a 85-82 non-league loss to Middletown South (Middletown, NJ). The Lions record now stands at 7-14.
The Spartans (1-19) will now prepare for their battle against Northern Burlington (Columbus, NJ). The Greyhounds come into the non-league battle with a 3-16 record. In their last battle, Northern Burlington trounced Steinert (Hamilton, NJ), 58-39, in a non-league battle.
