In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Lewis County Lions basketball team scored a good 67-59 triumph over the West Carter Comets.
In their next game, the Lions meet the Raceland Rams (Raceland, KY) in a District 63 match, on Friday, February 9. Lewis County will attempt to move on its 6-12 season record. The Rams enter the match with a 12-11 record after their 76-60 league loss to Greenup County (Greenup, KY).
With the defeat, West Carter moves to 7-14 on the year. The Comets travel to Morgan County (West Liberty, KY) to meet the Cougars in a District 62 match on Friday, February 9. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 13-6.
