Illinois High School Basketball - Lewistown trounced by Peoria Christian

In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Peoria Christian Chargers basketball team scored a decisive 60-25 victory over the Lewistown Indians.

The Chargers now possess a 17-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Farmington for a non-league battle on Friday, February 9. Peoria Christian will confront a Farmers team coming off a 62-37 non-league loss to Illini Bluffs (Glasford, IL). The Farmers record now stands at 13-12.

The Indians (3-20) will now prepare for their battle against Greenfield/Northwestern (Greenfield, IL). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 16-11 record. In their last battle, Greenfield/Northwestern trounced Southwestern (Piasa, IL), 38-29, in a non-league battle.
