Arkansas High School Basketball - Manila topped by Rector

The Rector Cougars basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting Manila Lions to 58 in the Cougars non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Cougars now sport a 13-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Corning for a non-league contest on Friday, February 9. Rector will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 61-44 non-league win over Crowley's Ridge Academy (Paragould, AR). The Bobcats record now stands at 16-10.
The Lions (12-17) will now prepare for their contest against Osceola (Osceola, AR). The Seminoles come into the 3A Region 3 contest with a 16-13 record. In their last contest, Osceola was defeated by Rivercrest (Wilson, AR), 71-68, in a league contest.
