Mankato West Scarlets (Mankato, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Northfield Raiders (Northfield, MN), 65-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mankato West upgrades its record to 14-5 on the season. The Scarlets host Stewartville (Stewartville, MN) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 8. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 18-3. Stewartville won 70-68 in their recent non-league bout against Benilde-St. Margaret's (St. Louis Park, MN)

Next up, the Raiders play the John Marshall Rockets (Rochester, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 9. Northfield will attempt to upgrade on its 9-11 season record. The Rockets go into the bout with a 11-7 record after their 73-70 league win over Century (Rochester, MN).
