Tuscola Warriors (Tuscola, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Meridian Hawks (Macon, IL), 70-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Tuscola upgrades its record to 21-5 on the season. The Warriors host St. Teresa (Decatur, IL) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, February 9. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 9-18. St. Teresa won 72-44 in their recent non-league bout against Cornerstone Christian (Bloomington, IL)

Next up, the Hawks clash with the Neoga Indians (Neoga, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 10. Meridian will attempt to upgrade on its 15-12 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 5-20 record after their 52-43 non-league loss to Oblong/Hutsonville/Palestine (Oblong, IL).
