The Newington Nor'easters basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Wethersfield Eagles to 37 in the Nor'easters league triumph on Tuesday.

The Nor'easters now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bloomfield for a non-league contest on Friday, February 9. Newington will battle a Warhawks team coming off a 75-67 non-league win over East Hartford (East Hartford, CT). The Warhawks record now stands at 7-7.

The Eagles (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against Windsor (Windsor, CT). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 14-3 record. In their last contest, Windsor triumphed over Rocky Hill (Rocky Hill, CT), 125-54, in a non-league contest.
