In Tuesday's league outing, the Newton South Lions (Newton, MA) basketball squad felled the visiting Westford Academy Grey Ghosts (Westford, MA), by a margin of 58-45.

The Lions (4-7) will now prepare for their outing against Waltham (Waltham, MA). The Hawks go into the non-league outing with a 13-2 record. In their last outing, Waltham thwarted Wayland (Wayland, MA), 83-48, in a league outing.
