The Notre Dame Prep Fighting Irish basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Stoney Creek Cougars to 59 in the Fighting Irish non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Fighting Irish now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Walled Lake Northern for a non-league contest on Friday, February 9. Notre Dame Prep will battle a Knights team coming off a 50-28 league loss to South Lyon (South Lyon, MI). The Knights record now stands at 6-11.

The Cougars (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Avondale (Auburn Hills, MI). The Yellowjackets enter the Oakland - Blue contest with a 13-5 record. In their last contest, Avondale nudged Rochester (Rochester Hills, MI), 58-45, in a league contest.
