Pennfield Panthers (Battle Creek, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Paw Paw Red Wolves (Paw Paw, MI), 38-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pennfield upgrades its record to 5-11 on the season. The Panthers travel to Marshall (Marshall, MI) to confront the Redhawks in a Interstate Eight challenge on Friday, February 9. The Redhawks come into the challenge with a record of 7-10. Marshall lost 46-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Otsego (Otsego, MI)

Next up, the Red Wolves confront the Plainwell Trojans (Plainwell, MI) in a Wolverine B challenge, on Friday, February 9. Paw Paw will attempt to improve on its 7-10 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 61-36 non-league win over Allegan (Allegan, MI).
