The Rutherford Bulldogs basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Ridgefield Memorial Royals to 34 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Memorial for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 8. Rutherford will meet a Tigers team coming off a 74-66 league loss to Hudson Catholic (Jersey City, NJ). The Tigers record now stands at 15-6.
The Royals (9-12) will now prepare for their contest against Park Ridge (Park Ridge, NJ). The Owls enter the non-league contest with a 12-9 record. In their last contest, Park Ridge triumphed over Pompton Lakes (Pompton Lakes, NJ), 48-42, in a non-league contest.
