Maryland High School Basketball - Severn School fells Sandy Spring Friends

February 6, 2024: Severna Park, MD 21146

Severn School Admirals (Severna Park, MD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Sandy Spring Friends Wildebeests (Sandy Spring, MD), 60-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Severn School upgrades its record to 17-4 on the season. The Admirals travel to St. Mary's (Annapolis, MD) to play the Saints in a MIAA B - Black bout on Friday, February 9. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 3-10.

Next up, the Wildebeests play the Washington Waldorf (Bethesda, MD) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Sandy Spring Friends will attempt to upgrade on its 20-6 season record. The go into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 42-40 non-league win over Model Secondary School for the Deaf (Washington, DC).
